Chromium trioxide : how to demonstrate compliance of uses with the CTAC authorisation decision ?

Following the publication of the draft decision of the European Commission on the application for authorisation of the consortium of suppliers of Chromium trioxide (CTAC), it is likely that the decision on the review periods granted to the different uses will be voted  at the next REACH committee on February 15th.

 

In the event of confirmation of an authorisation, all downstream users will have to notify ECHA of their use of Chromium Trioxide. It will not only be necessary to demonstrate compliance with the exposure scenarios of the CTAC's Chemical Safety Report (CSR), but also with the conditions specified in the Commission Decision.
